Ecological Footprint
If everyone in the world had my resources we would have to have 5.5 earths for everyone to survive and 24.6 global acres of Earth’s productive areas. When I first started my ecological footprint I didn’t know what I was getting into. I never realized how much energy I was using, it was shocking! The dictionary definition of an ecological footprint is the measure of human demand on the Earth’s ecosystem. It is basically telling you how much land area it takes to support your lifestyle. This quiz helps you realize how much energy you are using and how much you are hurting the Earth. This quiz also lets you realize your week points and shows you what you could stop doing to help your environment. What I could do to help our planet and our environment I can cut down of services and energy land. I could stop using a lot of water as well, like keeping the water running when i brush my teeth and having the shower run while im not 100% ready to use it yet. I could cut down on keeping things plugged into the walls and always having my light on. I will try my hardest to make sure I am as ecologically friendly as I can be!

I was shocked when I found out how much energy I was using too. I am glad that we want to cut back. I will try to cut back on some things that you have mentioned as well. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMy highest footprint was services too, I guess you do not realize how many little things can make a great impact in our enviroment,the good news is that we can start doing something and be more conscious about it!
ReplyDeleteWow, your number is really huge. But I'm pretty sure your number will cut down after you doing what you said. Protecting our planet needs daily accumulation, if we can save a bit of resources everyday, we'll make great contribution to the environmental protection through our whole life.
